- The video catalog links the session builder and video analyzer to your videos.
- You can add videos to multiple folders, without having to upload the video several times.

- Cataloging your videos in your own folder structures makes them easier to find.
You can add videos hosted on your video hub, YouTube or vimeo.
When you upload your videos to your video hub channel, then your video will be played without any annoying overlays.Important:
When adding videos from 3rd part hosts like YouTube and vimeo, you need to be aware that these companies embed their own overlays over the top of your videos. And they do get in the way!
Additionally, when you add videos to your session plans that are hosted by a 3rd party provider. Then at the end of the videos, these companies display random, non-related videos to the viewer.
Here’s an example of how a video from YouTube and vimeo look when loaded into the video analyzer.
Adding a video from your video hub channel
1. Open your video hub, if its not already loaded.
2. Click "My Videos" on the left hand menu
3. Locate the videos you want to add and click the folder icon, as shown below to automatically add the video to your video catalog.
When you click this button, the video is automatically added to your catalog system.
Notes:
1: If you are an academy user, then the video is added to "My Videos" on your home drive.
2: If you are using the personal edition, then the video is added to your kwikdrive.
3: When you add a video to the catalog, the "add to catalog" button won't appear unless it is deleted from the catalog.
4: When you delete a video from your videohub channel it is removed from the catalog as well.
To add videos from another hosting provider like YouTube:
1. Open YouTube, and find the video you want to add.
2. Copy the video link that is shown in the url of your browser.
This should be something like:

4. Locate the folder where you want the video to be added.
5. Click "Add Video" on the top menu
6. Paste the video url into the URL input box and click the "Add Video" button.

7. Double click the video, and make sure it plays ok.
Notice that the player used, is the 3rd party hosted player.
That's it. You should now be able to start creating your video catalog.
